Job Description

Our client, a reputed wealth management firm, is looking to hire a Head of Wealth Management, to join their team in Dubai.

  • Manage the wealth team in conducting regular market scans linked to the investment strategy, and also manage the delivery of investment advisory services to enable effective fund management for clients’ transactions.
  • Support the development and implementation of department’s strategy, support the execution change to achieve the company’s long-term goals. Also lead key firm-wide strategic and operational initiatives to support ongoing continuous improvement.
  • Analyse and understand company’s target segment-specific client needs and develop platform strategies to improve client relationship, whilst seeking to enhance customer experience. Also, identify key segment challenges and improvement areas, developing solutions to address these challenges.
  • Develop key performance measures to track and monitor customer-centricity and a sustainable portfolio growth, participating in marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Oversee and ensure that the required service delivery and customer excellence standards are provided to all clients (internal and external) to uphold the company’s service standards and brand.
  • Review and approve investment / divestment opportunities to recommend clients appropriate and balanced portfolio strategies.
  • Lead the preparation of daily and periodic reports for management and clients on investments, portfolio trends and performance.
  • Initiate, maintain and oversee client relationships, making sure that any complaint / query is answered accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a database of all relevant information on all existing clients and prospects.
  • Elaborate and recommend annual budget, provide input into divisional budget planning, monitor the performance of the department and control costs, to ensure that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly.
  • Support the development of a risk culture, promote sound risk practices to reduce the likelihood of financial, operational or reputation risks.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and mentorship within the department, coach subordinates and promote both professional and personal growth. Also, deliver people processes including workforce planning, recruitment, performance management and people development to ensure the department has the required talent.
