Job Description

The Project Coordinator supports and coordinates various aspects of any assigned projects. This position is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of tasks by facilitating effective communication and organizing project documentation to meet project milestones and deadlines.

As a Project Coordinator, the responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Also, note that these roles and responsibilities might change in due course or immediately if any situation arises.

Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure effective coordination and communication among team members.
  • Facilitate project meetings, document discussions, and follow up on action items to meet project milestones.

Document Control:

  • Establish and maintain a systematic document control process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Organize, catalog, and manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and correspondence.

Schedule/Planning:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
  • Monitor project timelines, identify potential delays, and work proactively to address issues to keep the project on track.

Communication:

  • Serve as a central point of contact for project-related communication, both internal and external.
  • Prepare and distribute regular project status reports to key stakeholders.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact project delivery and work collaboratively with the project team to develop mitigation strategies.
