Job Description

Role Overview:

As a Project Coordinator specializing in joinery projects, you will be instrumental in supporting our Project Managers in organizing and overseeing ongoing joinery projects. Your responsibilities will include monitoring project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures, as well as ensuring all project deadlines are met in a timely manner.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Organization:
  • Project Team in organizing and overseeing ongoing joinery projects.
  • project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  1. Stakeholder Management:
  • and participate in stakeholder meetings, ensuring effective communication between all parties involved.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • proper documentation of project-related information, including invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes, and payment follow-ups.
  • minutes of meetings (MOM) and facilitate necessary follow-ups with relevant departments.
  • Essential approvals such as Dubai Duty-Free Permits, Night Work Police Permits, and Mall Permits, among others, as well as Visa Applications for Overseas Assignments Related to Projects Outside the UAE
  1. Internal Coordination:
  • with various internal teams including Marketing, Design, Procurement, and Production to ensure timely, in-budget, and high-quality project delivery.
  1. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • general project requirements are met, from design brief to execution, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  1. Project Management Tools:
  • and monitor the use of project management tools to streamline project execution.
  1. Logistics and Shipment:
  • logistics, including booking drivers, travel arrangements, and on-site coordination up to delivery.

 

Skills

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Experience in luxury interiors/events, specifically in the joinery industry (2-4 years).
  • Strong attention to detail and client-focused approach.
  • Should have appropriate expertise coordinating shipments from start to finish
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting joinery plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Fluent English speaker with strong communication skills (written and verbal) – Hindi, French, Arabic, and/or additional languages a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a ‘can-do attitude
