Black & Grey HR is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading developer in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager, Delivery Management (Complex Districts) to lead and manage the execution of large-scale development projects within Complex Districts. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely with the Associate Director, Delivery Management, design managers, and various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects from inception to handover. This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing and delivering Complex Districts projects.

Responsibilities:

– Oversee project resources, including Project Management Consultants (PMCs), to meet project delivery goals.
– Develop and implement detailed delivery strategies aligned with project objectives.
– Prepare pre-contract planning, scheduling, and design development, ensuring alignment with success criteria.
– Support design managers in preparing project design scope and Request for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring compliance with project objectives and design briefs.
– Follow up on design consultant procurement processes and tender processes, ensuring successful awards.
– Oversee the design process, from Vision to Issued for Construction (IFC), ensuring contractual obligations are met and design solutions align with standards.
– Manage relationships with stakeholders, facilitating communication and efficient problem resolution.
– Manage contracts of all stakeholders, ensuring timely payments and adherence to contractual obligations.
– Regularly review the risk register, propose mitigation measures, and support teams in managing risks effectively.
– Conduct and/or attend regular project meetings, site walks, and facilitate discussions to address challenges and obstacles.
– Apply performance management techniques, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), to enhance project performance.
– Foster effective communication among project teams, stakeholders, and contractors, ensuring the timely production of project progress reports.
– Ensure full integration of Modon Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies in each project, adopting a proactive approach.
– Closely monitor potential change requests, escalate issues to senior management, and ensure appropriate workflow streams for review and approval.
– Manage the interface between construction and asset management to ensure a smooth transition of assets from contractor to end user.
– Provide closeout documentation, training, and maintenance manuals, and compile and distribute lessons learned for continuous enhancement
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction, or project management.
– 12+ years of successful management of Complex Districts projects.
– Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and build effective relationships.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Membership in a recognized professional body (RIBA, AIA, CIOB, RICS).
