Job Roles :

Specialized in micro space planning, such as planogram creation and category analysis, focuses on optimizing the arrangement and presentation of products within shelves, gondolas, etc. This

role is critical for maximizing product visibility, sales, and overall customer experience in stores.

Core Duties &

Responsibilities :

  • Planogram Creation: develop planograms using space planning software, which are visual representations of product placement on store shelves or displays. Consider factors such as product categories, brand strategies, and sales objectives.
  •  Data Analysis: utilize sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to inform planogram design and optimize product placement. Identify which products are top sellers and need prime shelf space.
  • Space Allocation: allocate space for products based on their performance and importance, ensuring that high-demand items are prominently displayed.
  •  Visual Merchandising: collaborate with visual merchandisers to create visually appealing displays that highlight featured products and promotions.
  • Planogram Implementation: oversee the implementation of planograms in stores, ensuring that they are correctly executed and maintained.
  • Product Database Creation: establish and maintain a product database that includes product dimensions, images, and other relevant information. Ensure data accuracy and accessibility for planogram creation and analysis.
  • Software Proficiency: use space planning software and other relevant tools for design, analysis, and data management.
  • Report Generation: prepare reports and presentations to communicate the impact of

planograms on sales and customer engagement to the management.


Qualification Requirement:

  • Education: a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, retail management, or a related field is typically required.
  • Skills & Experiences: previous experience in retail, visual merchandising, or planogram creation is highly beneficial. Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and make data- driven decisions.
  • Software Proficiency: proficiency in space planning software such as: Spaceman, JDA, etc., AutoCAD, data analysis tools, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Communication: effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Project Management: ability to manage multiple planogram projects simultaneously and

meet deadlines.
